Technical Design:

DEVELOPMENT OF NEW STYLES

• Interpret Design sketches to create specifications for new styles on a month-to-month basis

• Determine best construction method for new styles

• Find block patterns or create new patterns for prototype creation

• Fit prototypes and make correction tech pack to pass to factory for creation of 1st fit

• Determine best fold method and label placement for each individual style

PRODUCTION

• Fit samples with input from design teams, buyers, and HSN Partners

• Interpret feedback to correct patterns if needed

• Write up correction tech pack to proceed to 2nd Fitting or Pre-Production

ANALYZING PRE-PRODUCTION AND TOP OF PRODUCTION SAMPLES

• Review corrected samples to insure changes were made effectively

• Review garment against construction and artwork pages

• Communicate with cross-functional team and factory partners to make any last minute changes before style is approved to bulk
